I've heard that recovery is a long hard road. Did any of your see the video of the little girl crying over the vikings loss to green bay? All I could think is: poor girl, she's got a lifetime of it ahead of her.

Last winter we got down to -7 degrees here at Fort Huachuca. I thought maybe since we'd frozen over, perhaps hell had too and the vikings would have a shot this year. Oh well. At least it looks like they'll be good again in a couple of years after some rebuilding. I think Ponder is going to be good once he's protected by a good O-line and has some good receivers to throw to.

Aw c'mon now, you got a well storied history in the Super Bowl:

1970 - Super Bowl IV

1974 - Super Bowl VII

1975 - Super Bowl IX

1977 - Super Bowl XI

Don't you recall? Would you like a little history lesson on how those games turned out?

I mean it's been 34 years since you've been to one, but it's gotta happen soon...right?!

Rogers is one hell of a QB. Fortunately for us vikes fans, his WR's will begin the downward slide in age soon and their near term draft picks are going to have to go to shoring up their D secondary. In a couple of years the pack will be falling off of the radar and the vikes will be climbing back to the top after rebuilding.

Fortunately that all happened before I was born...they'll get back before I die. Hopefully.

So, did you buy any of the new shares in the pack? I think it's amazing that they're asking everyone to donate $250 to a bunch of millionaires and in return you get a piece of paper to frame and hang on the wall.

Maybe I should get in on that deal. Anyone interested in buying shares of goomer inc? I'll sell them for $50. The shares are non voting and will never increase in value or pay a dividend. I'm raising money to increase the standard of my "facilities". The man cave, my garage, needs a new heater and another recliner.

No, that must have been the North Dakota team...

We still have a few good receivers that have potential to be around a while. The defense...that's another story, the Packers defense is quite frankly...offensive, just not good.

I think the only receiver beginning the slide is Driver, and I'd put him up against any Viking receiver besides Harvin.

I think that leaves us 6 receivers that are still on the uphill side of hitting their prime.

But will all of them be able to be kept when they hit free agency?
