			Unfortunately, it is hard to make a deer pay for damages to your bike. Even more so, when it is dead.

			The two bottom pictures were from a VW van though. That had a more satisfactory outcome.

			I will be "that guy" and say buy a full face, ARAI always worked well when I was racing.  Those skid lids are useless and I think that your friends and family would appreciate it if you wore a helmet that actually might save your life. If fashion/freedom is more important to you then just don't wear one. Because essentially those helmets provide the same protection as nothing at all.
