Wow... Whats so special about them? Because they are hand made?

Interesting bit from google...

Harris Holland was born in 1806 in London. Although accounts of his background are somewhat sketchy, it is believed that his father was an organ builder, while Harris had a tobacco wholesale business in London. Obviously he was successful, as he was often seen at various pigeon shoots at important London clubs, as well as leasing a grouse moor in Yorkshire.

I always hunt for deals and due my research before hand to make sure what I'm getting is quality. I find myself spending an average of $3.00 a cigar, and I got some pretty impressive inventory. Though a lot of the higher end stock was gifted to me. It's great having friends.

that's a good idea...I'm going to start asking my friends to "Gift" me higher end cigars too.

I've never asked nothing from anyone.

I'm 23, currently working as a freelance web developer, and working on establishing a business. So as you would imagine budget always has to be on the mind.

Friends and family have gifted me some nice high end cigars for birthdays and holidays, and friends online have been generous enough to expose me to some higher end cigars and cigars that aren't readily available at my local shop.

I've spent quite a bit, but not $15k. All hobbies are expensive. I'm also into guns, and that's worse than cigars. The price of ammo has gotten to be outragous, and seems to keep going up. Hell, if I could go back in time a few years I wouldn't be investing in stocks, I'd be buying all the 9mm and 45acp I could get my hands on.

At least it's something you enjoy. I look forward to my smoke time each day, somedays, it's the best part of my day.

Just curious-how much do you smoke and what do you typically smoke?

Thankfully, I'm nowhere near that.

I'm a cheapskate. I would guess that in 3yrs. I've spent about $3,000 tops. And that's being very liberal with my guesstimating.

I buy all my cigars on credit cards and never pay them. I am going to declare bankruptcy next week, so my sum total for the last 5 years will be $0.

I keed, I keed.

LOL.

I think all hobbies will end up costing us quite a bit, and if it something that makes us happy, I don't think we should worry about it.

So long as its a healthy spending, that doesn't cause you to miss mortgage payments, rent, car payments, or run yourself into serious debt.

My grandfather always said you never see an armored car following a hearse.
Spend your money and enjoy your life, but remember your responsibilities.

More than some and less than others

What I have spent over the past 5 years, is no where near what I spent partying in my 20's.

I started buying higher end cigars after I stopped drinking and I cut that budget in 1/2. I havent been buying much in the past two years since my girlfriend went back to school, and we have a wedding to pay for. Luckily I am well stocked for the next couple years.

I know the feeling! My fiance has been hinting with Tiffany & Co for months! Rofl, but she is letting me get a couple boxes of high end smokes for my birthday

I have spent near 1k in the 7 months I've been smoking cigars, the $50 worth of singles or 5 packs here and there add up quick!
