We (my wife and I) used to really enjoy SG, especially the earlier seasons. Towards the end it definately got ewaker. The new series looks like SG meets Battlestar Galactica...not sure if that's a good thing or not yet.

Same here. The original was good, but the new one just seemed to have, I don't know, too MUCH drama. A bit to dark for me as well.

It's weird going back and watching the first couple of seasons of SG1. RDA looks so young, and Michael Shanks looks like James Spader's twin. Later on he got rid of the shaggy hair and glasses and made Jackson less of a geek.

The SG:Atlantis movie, sub-titled Extinction is scheduled to film late this year. It looks like Todd is back, as Christopher Heyerdahl is confirmed. It will debut on SyFy (puke) then be released on DVD. I'm hoping this one is as well done as Ark of Truth and Continuum.
