Don't look at it as a loss, look at it as a PIF!

Moral of the story: Always have more than 1 Palio!

I've lost more expensive stuff than that while drinking, unfortunately. (don't tell the wife)

Sorry for your loss. Thoughts/prayers.

I feel your pain,,,I have lost so many things while at a bar that it's just cheaper if I drink at home now. I have lost lighters, cutters, cell phones and wallets at bars. I think I will just stay away from bars altogether.

I have this weird phobia of losing my cutter(or lighter) so I cut and quickly put it back in its case and into my pocket! If someone wants to check out the Palio, I treat it like I'm working at a jewlery store, eyes on the prize the whole time till its back in my hands.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

If you're looking for a replacment, I Googled Palio and found Atlantic Cigars has the black one on sale for 35.95 plus a bonus 5 pak of cigars. Not a bad deal IMHO. Of course, the cigars arn't named, but I can always use a few extra mowing sticks this time of year.

Lightbulb Re: Sad day for my friend Palio

Sorry for your loss, but it gave me an idea.

I've always kept the "This Palio was assembled by" card in my case. I put the cutter on one side and save my cigar bands on the other. I think I'll replace it with my business card. That way if it's ever lost and found by an honest party, I may get it back.

FWIW, my Palio was assembled by VD Aug 05 2007. I honestly think it cuts better now, than when it was new.

While you are on his site you can also pick up some beads and start another cooler. No reason to just buy one thing. To boot, Mark has excellent customer service.
