Throwing money at the problem hasnt work thus far. Makes me think of the US government's mentallity that you can solve the Big Three by throwing money at them.
I guess the Yankees have the new big three they are throwing money too, Burnett, Sabathia and Rivera. |

The difference being that all three were awesome last year. And Rivera was signed a year ago, why bring him up?

Texiera would be a great pickup put paying more than 6yrs at 150 million is not worth it. I would like to see the Sox get him at 5 yrs 100 million
