Re: Kitchen transformation progress...
Ripped out carpet/pad today. Painted all the walls too. So exhausted, but should be 90% together by the end of Friday. Got the floor guy and tile guy both lined up for then.

Someone told me a couple of weeks ago about their project, "We're 90% done, with 90% left to go."

Re: Kitchen transformation progress...
Floors are done, tile backsplash going in now. New kitchen light just showed up (George Kovacs Light Rail kit), and new dining room light/fan (Craftmade Silo) should be here real soon.
Hope to get a few pics up tonight for you guys. Thanks, smitty. I'm really thrilled with them so far. One hiccup: The floor is a sheet product called fiberfloor. My vendor accidentally shipped me 2 different dye lots, so they don't match. Gonna get it sorted sooner or later, but that can wait.

Re: Kitchen transformation progress...
Thanks, guys. Got the light switched out just now, and the tile guy is coming back tomorrow to grout. So it's still kind of torn apart right now, but here's a teaser pic:

Re: Kitchen transformation progress...
Got everything cleaned up last night. Still have to paint the beam, and get a window treatment for the kitchen window. I couldn't be happier with the results.
