My go to is Kraken. Can get a handle of it for about $25 in VA and its great with Dr. Pepper (sounds weird but its great). Goslings is good stuff too.

Love to sip on Zacapa though.

So I know it's probably a longshot, but I'm just wondering if anyone may know how/where Legendario can be purchased in the states?

If we are thinking of the same Legendario, it is illegal to purchase in the US

Ahh, yes. I didn't even think of that. When I think of the embargo, I was only thinking cigars. My mistake. Please don't fire me.

Decided to try a quality sipping rum after reading a few threads here, went and picked up a bottle of Appleton's 12 year.....since it's a first, nothing to compare it against, but this stuff is tasty goodness....since it's 30 degrees and misting, no cigar report to go with it, but it's impressive on it's own.

For me there is nothing better then Zacapa and cigar, but I also enjoy Zaya, and there is a newer rum on the market called Boltran that is giving Zacapa a run for its money. It's less expensive and on the same level if you ask me.

The best rum I ever tried was a 12 year El Dorado I got as a present from my friends. I enjoyed every glass of it.
