Re: Does your significant other support smoking ci
My wife expresses concern for my health every now and then, but other than that she is fine with it and is my regular smoking companion. I tell her I don't smoke often enough for it to be a major risk, and even if I did, the stress reduction benefit far outweighs the possible harm in my book.

Re: Does your significant other support smoking ci
She doesn't hound me too much about it. She gets more pissed about time spent on a cigar forum than on smoking cigars.

Re: Does your significant other support smoking ci
My lovely wife doesn't love cigars, but she does surprise me with them from time to time... even set up a nice smoking area for me on the back porch with new furniture and a stinky ashtray.
But ALWAYS smoke outside.

Re: Does your significant other support smoking ci
When we were dating everything was cool... It's only after we got married that she began to nag about the cigars (and golf for that matter). She can't complain about the money, because I only spend my personal money. I think her complaints are more health related.

Re: Does your significant other support smoking ci
My wife expresses her concern for my health every now and again and tolerates it as long as I don't go crazy with the spending. She always has something "nice" to say when the postman comes...LOL!!!

Re: Does your significant other support smoking ci
The wife is NOT a fan of cigars. But, she also recognizes that if there is something I enjoy that doesn't affect her or the kids, then I should be able to enjoy it. I don't smoke around them at all.

Re: Does your significant other support smoking ci
The wife has no problem with me smoking or buying. She has bought them before herself and worked through a friend for another purchase for me. I don't smoke in the house out of respect for her and my step-son. I do get the occasional "you stink" or "there's a lot of smoke out here tonight", but no b!tching or anything.

Re: Does your significant other support smoking ci
Well, once you assemble a really good stash, I'll start nagging you and telling you to quit smoking cigars. I'll say earnestly that you should just let me destroy all those cigars you bought because they're so bad for you. I'll light them on fire and nobly save you from them, one cigar at a time.

Mine tolerates it, can't say she supports it. Would probably rather I not smoke.

Re: Does your significant other support smoking ci
I don't think she's crazy about it, but she deals with it. She understands, as I do, the give and take in a relationship. She knows I enjoy it and she would prefer me to have enjoyable experiences.

Re: Does your significant other support smoking ci
My wife likes that I enjoy it. She says as long as I don't smoke too many (I smoke about 3-4 a week), she is happy I find enjoyment in them, and she likes the aroma. While I spend too much on "collecting" cigars, she doesn't complain about it because she knows I always shop for a good deal and I pay with my debit card, not a credit card. She will enjoy one with me sometimes (she likes smaller ones like petite coronas or cigarette-sized ones). Once in a while she enjoys a cigarette, but I bought her a pack of imported Dunhills at a cigar lounge and she likes them. I've got to say, for cigarettes they smell very good.

Bite me! You are soon to get another shipment of cigar bands with more variety than the last shipment and that includes the guards.

You can find my Fiance at many events by my side. She is hooked on the Epernay by Illusione. KEEPER! She only enjoyes places that she can have a glass of wine or a beer at and the smoke ventilation has to be good.

Re: Does your significant other support smoking ci
My wife does not believe it is that healthy, and is concerned with any cancer risk (especially with a new baby due in a few weeks). Her main concern through is how I stink after smoking cigars. If they did not make my smell so bad, she says she would not mind them as much at all.
