we dont have a specific date...but I am understood to be home by the end of this year

Then I get to go back to my home unit to pack back up and head to Afghanistan....yaaaay...lol

not sure where in Afghan we will be, however we are a support aviation unit...not combat...so who knows....of course this is also subject to change at any time...

I'm in an Aviation Brigade myself currently in Afghanistan. You will go one of the 4 major bases. Usually just depends on where they send ya.

They played that game with us as well. It took forever to get a concrete date. We really didn't get a solid date home till about 30 days out, which is just insane to me. It's a great feeling knowing when you're headed home though.
