Re: Boardwalk Empire Season 3 Banter
I was a little confused at the start of the second episode, when Billy got out of bed naked. No, that did not confuse me! But Nucky was wearing a TShirt and Shorts, and pulled on his pants. Now, I have no interest in seeing Nucky's shiny, wrinkly, white backside; but if I was in bed with a side piece like Billy, I sure wouldn't be wearing clothes!
And Nucky getting all upset that his side piece might be not just his side piece... this ought to get interesting! |

I can't wait till someone whacks Mickey Doyle but that actor does a great job of playing such a quirky weasel of a character

Re: Boardwalk Empire Season 3 Banter
Those scenes with his son were touching, I actually could feel his kids pain when Al was trying to teach him a punch, it was like "dad, I can't hear you, I don't understand what you want from me." Just tore me up.
Kind of a boring episode though.

Yup, hoping we get some more action next week. And some Chalky White.

Re: Boardwalk Empire Season 3 Banter
I actually thought it was a great episode; not boring at all. This show seems to be getting more violent by the week and Nucky is getting real mean. Seems like a huge difference since the first year's episodes. I thought the basement scene was intense because you were almost sure they were going to get caught. I agree about the scene with Capone's son; very touching. Can't wait until next week's episode.

Re: Boardwalk Empire Season 3 Banter
Definitely a more character driven episode than event driven.
But I will echo the sentiment that we need more Chalky!

This season has been great for one-liners so far. My favorite from this week's:
