I have a friend working up a tasting of 2018-2022 ECBP batches, the goal is to do them blind in brackets before revealing which is which, I've tried them all since 2019 but rarely side by side so it should be fun

Same here, sample it first or wait for reviews. Who knows, it could be phenomenal. In the Reddit thread I saw the announcement on, some people are wanting HH to label these releases like Bardstown does with their stuff. The 10 year age statement might just be a percentage of the mix. Could be older juice in there.

Post your blind tasting results when you’re done. Curious to see how things score out.

The last couple of nights I've been alternating between Penelope Barrel Strength and OF 1920 Prohibition Style. Both are enjoyable, although the Penelope comes off a little hot. I'm not a huge OF fan but the 1920 PS is damned good. I didn't even realize it was 115 proof until I looked closely at the bottle.

I never understand how guys accumulate so much bourbon. I must have a drinking problem.....That's a helluva collection.

Got told today at my liquor store to expect a call within a few days. They are getting all their allocated bottles in soon and I'm #9 on the list. I've heard he's got, Pappys, EHT, Blantons, Multiple Weller, Eagle Rare, Mckenna 10, and god knows what else.

After moving everything, I was like “should’ve bought the 36” shelves”. These are 32.

I’ve been buying a lot the last year or so. I’ve also increased my weekly intake, but obviously not enough to keep up with the buying.

Looks great, Bob!

Pete, you should get a stab at something nice at #9, skip the Blanton's, EHT and Eagle Rare, hope you get a Pappy or one of the harder to find Weller's.

When we bought our house my wife said I could build whatever size bar I wanted but couldn't store booze anywhere else in the house. I went way bigger than I could have imagined, but even adding extra hidden shelves I'm at capacity. I also keep all the wine, beer and other spirits (plus a vino humidor) in the bar as well but the side reserved for American whiskey is busting at the seems and in serious need of some depletion

I was on my local base today so I figured I'd see what was on the shelf. They had one bottle of JD SB-BP. It looked so lonely there by itself I figured I'd adopt it and give it a good home. As a nice bonus it was on sale.

I ran out of space long ago. I am now at the "let's get boxes and filled them with their label and put them on the floor" phase. I have run out of space in my office due to the phase. I am definitely looks at shelving units to store all of my bottles.

Well I had plenty to choose from, lower level Pappy's, Eagle Rare, Forrester Bday, EH Tayler, Blantons, Blantons Gold, Weller 107, Special Reserve and Single Barrel, and many more. I went with some Stagg Jr. Too bad I could only pick one.

They had the Mckenna 10 on the shelf so I picked up some of that to replace some other good stuff I was hoping I would have a chance to buy too.

Nice pickup on the Stagg, Pete.

Ditto on the JD, James.

I've literally been saying this for years. At least Tony has come by to kill off a couple bottles, not sure what your deal is
