Joe, hope the 'Canes can get you a pre-Birthday win tonight!

I am heading to the Hawks game tonight, and thinking about heading to the Wolves game Friday for Chris Chelios' Wolves debut.

Sounds like a good time...Im going to have to make over to Buffalo soon to get a live NHL fix.

The Wolves have had a rough start to the year...maybe chelly will turn em around(not that I really want to see that happen from a Moose fan perspective).

That's who they play Friday I believe, Matt. Wolves fired their coaching staff Monday, so big changes should be afoot. They sure need them, the Icehogs are gobbling them up so far.

Ya thats what I thought...Moose are looking pretty good so far from what I hear. Biggest thing is their goaltending has been strong.

Who are they looking to take the reigns behind the bench?

They haven't tipped their hand at all. If Chelios wasn't so Hellbent on getting back to the Big Show, I'd guess they might make the mistake of offering him the "Player-Coach" title.

The whole hair pulling thing is so cheap. Jr. got into a fight two years ago and the kid ripped out a clump of his hair. Gross, right down to the meat. They reviewed the tape after the game and the kid got a ten game suspension, about on quarter of the league season.

Definitely no need for Big Buff to hit Luongo, but those two went at it the whole series...and I will be there tonight when they "rekindle their love".

Eager was just lucky he didn't hit his head harder (without the helmet) on that body slam.
