My best friend and I drank a dozen bottles of my homebrew dunkleweizen, and a couple Surlyfests. I'm gonna be hurting tomorrow, but boy did we have fun!

Sierra Neveda 30th bock. It had a subtle palate, but it was good. Green apple and pear were the flavors with a malty backbone to give it balance. This was a really really good beer. Complex, and I think I will pick up some more

Yea I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't expect much but really enjoyed that beer.

Had a SKA Brewing Modus Hoperandi IPA the other night which was excellent. Just had a Threefloyds Dreadnaught bomber, Dogfish Punkin, and Bluegrass Brewing Bourbon Barrel Stout. All are great.

New Belgium Belgo IPA tonight... This one is definitely surprising me in a good way. I'm not usually a huge fan of overly hopped beers, but this one isn't overdone or is at least balanced by something else in the brew. Good stuff!!!
