Davidoff Flake Medallions in the A.Govem meer. Thanks Chris (Sancho) for the sample bag of this. Think I was able to fold and stuff 4 coins in the meer. Really a good tasting Va/Per/Cav blend

Glad you liked it, I'm about through the tin now. Maybe a few bowls left, it's not my favorite but it's a nice alternative to escudo for me as it's got noticeably less perique in the blend. I will say I'm not sold on again perique heavy blends, doesn't seem to soften much to me.

Did a small bowl of Mac mature VA this morning, nice smooth smoker.

What I enjoyed the most from this Davidoff blend was the deep chewy dense flavor and aroma. I'm sure the Cavendish has something to do with the smoothness it provides to the coins. If it comes up for sale at some point in time somewhere, I'll definitely have to purchase a number of tins to cellar away

Finally, the BABOTL' shared a little rain water with us here in the SoCal area Thanks all! Rain clouds still hanging around here in the Valencia area, and the rain has taken a brief break.

Packed some GLP Barbary Coast in the F.Baki meer, with a cup of Cafe Bustelo on the side...

Sounds like an interesting pipe Seth. ReBorn Pipes has some information on your pipe here:

The weather is moving in, and good old Winnipeg is set for the first snow. Ideal weather for some brooding tobacco.

Peretti Royal blend in my 1967 Dunhill shell briar Lovat.

A quite delicious smoke - I think more interesting than Nightcap. Deep, woodsy, nutty. The Yedidje has a really interesting aftertaste.

Neil, I hear great things about Peretti blends. Have you tried Tashkent, and if so, how did you like it?
