Picked up the 2019 edition of Rochester Mills Brewing, 12 days of Xmas stouts (or something like that). Drinking the PB&J milkshake stout.

Call me old fashioned, but I don't know about mint in a beer, at least I haven't tried one yet worth it

Finishing up a 2018 BCBS coffee barleywine, smooth and sweet for 15+%. Looking forward to this year's releases

Got me a few bottles of Trader Joe’s 2019 Vintage Ale. It’s ok. Gotta get used to the spices.

Thanks to Ben (stearns) for this one from River North Brewery. Excellent stout. Has the palate coating mouthfeel of Samuel Smith's Chocolate Stout without the overbearing sweetness, and the chile spices play nicely with the cocoa and vanilla nubs.

Thanks Ben!

Kyle, nice to "see" you. Happy Thanksgiving!

Josh, I'd love to hear more about the beer. Rogue used to come out with an annual donut beer, I remember Maple Bacon and a couple others. Quite possibly the most disgusting beers I ever tried.
