Mets win the first game of a double header with the Nats 11-0! Woohoo! Murphy had two HRs and five RBI. Davis also got a three run HR in the ninth.

Gee has "Home Runitis" this afternoon (gave up three solo shots) as the Mets drop one to the Nats, 4-1. Didn't help that hitters 4 through 9 went 0-18.

Mets beat the Marlins last night 6-5 in 10 innings. Wheeler looked great early...but Collins left him in a little too long. This Lagares kid has been on fire of late.

If Dillon Gee could keep the ball down just a little bit and work the outside of the plate a bit more efficiently, he's gonna kick ass. Not that it really matters with the Mets, cause he'll get zero run support and pull a 1.79 ERA and a 7-14 W/L record.

I'm pulling for the kid, anyways. At 23 he's throwing impressively in well over 1/2 his starts. He's just a wiggle away from being a really good pitcher. He just needs to be diplomatic and throw some more ground balls.
