I like to see Looch go but he is to valuable to be fighting with a knuckle head like Scott, not an even trade.
The guy I like to see go is Mcquaid he is one tuff SOB.

If Sharp's shot had been one inch over, they would be in round 4....he had Backstrom beat cleanly.

I won't argue with you on that one. We paint our goal posts extra thick here in MN.....This is going to be one hell of an entertaining series all year long....

We need to get Crawford some of that paint!

Always is entertaining, the Wild always dump it in and punish the Hawks defensemen, which seems to be a good strategy.

Hasn't Crawford been one of the best goalies in the league so far?

Much better than expected...but I'll trade him straight up for Craig Anderson right now.

No doubt, Pete. I used to have a lot of friends in the league back in the 90's, now Anderson is the only true friend I have that is still in the NHL.

B's go down, Scott knocks out Thornton with three shots.
A lot I could say about this one but won't.
Ruff WTF calls time out with 13 seconds leading by three.
That won't be forgotten.
Thomas Vanek had a great game for the Sabers.

Tough beat last night.
Scott is a beast and Thornton went off dazed and confused.
you don't see that everyday.

Not only did he call the time out he did so he could get Scott on the ice.

Next up Lucic vs Scott

Why would he need to call a timeout to put Scott on the ice?

I went out to watch the game last night and no one could figure out why Ruff did that. It looked like he pulled all his skill guys and put the goons out. I didnt see the post game but i guess he said he thought the Bruins might try to fight. Any way it should make for some good games between these two.

I switched back to the Devils game, Ruff called a timeout then? I like him, but that is bush league.

Vanek is off to a great start this season indeed. Glad he is in the East.

Sharks are 7-0.
Preds and Ducks coming up next. They could extend this a bit. After those two it will be the battle of the titans. Sharks vs Hawks.

Congrats on the 1st place Sharks, Mike...they found a way, even though I thought Dubnyk was superb.

Sharks, Hawks and Blues look like the clear cut "cream of the West" to this point.

Bush league move by Ruff and the real Rask showed up, glad to see he's back to giving up the 50 footers this season! Oi ...

"The 6-foot-8, 258-pound Scott" christ talk about goons 5 points in almost 160 games, at least Thornton can actually play hockey on the side.

Not a great NHL'er, but you gotta admit the guy is a beast.

Your absolutelty right. The Sabres brought him in for the physical presence not to score. They have these very GQ esk style photos of all the Sabres players around the concourse at the arena. I laughed at the one of Scott when i was there last week. He still looks like a goon.

Makes sense. Stranger things have happened at the end of a game. In my opinion it would not be out of character for the Bs to do that so I dont think ruff was totally out of line. It was a physical emotional game.

Remember as visitor he doesnt have advantage of last change so maybe he saw or heard something. If he called time and did nothing then yeah its bush. If he was trying to protect his stars I dont think its that bush. Not a Sabres fan and if anything like the Bs more, guess people need fuel for the next game.
