Last night SN 30th Annie Black Barleywine. To say I enjoyed it would be an overstatement, they should be embarrassed Other than to say it was
Overhopped (surprise surprise), it was
Completely unnoteworthy. Hey SN news
Flash: not everything needs to be overhopped,'and you already have a hoppy barleywine in Bigfoot. Maybe expecting

I'm with you Vic...do you foresee the hops mellowing out after a year in the cellar? I've got one lone bottle from when I was in SF, when the weather gets cold it's gonna be hard to stay off it.

Maybe,'but I'm not sure what would be left if they did All I got out of this beer was hoppy bitterness and a little underlying sweetness, there was absolutely no complexity at all! I think age going to make
This beer worse, not better

Matt and his family had my family over and he cooked some amazing ribs that we followed with good beer good cigars and most of all good company.

This weekend: Brooklyn Sorachi Ace, Great Divide Old Ruffian, Great Divide Oak Aged Yeti, Stone 14th Emperial IPA.
