Today I smoked an Occidental robusto and a La Floridita Magnum.

Both are a bit out of my element, but were gifts from a friend of mine. I must say, they were both quite good.

The Occidental was actually pleasantly fuller bodied than what I was expecting from a Connecticut robusto, and quite grassy and sweet.

The La Floridita was a 60 ring gauge (much larger than what I normally smoke) maduro, but very good nontheless. A good, sweet and robust smoke with a medium to full body, and full strength. Not a lot of complexity, but consistent and satisfying. A good budget smoke.

Camacho Liberty 2010 - these are not good at all.

Edit if you would have told me that was a Gurkha I would have believed you. Wow that was the worst cigar I've attempted to smoke in a long time.

Trying to get that awful liberty taste out of my mouth.

Smoking a 7.5x48 La Riqueza. Not bad so far.

glad to hear that. I usually try to post a comment or two about the sticks I smoke. For the price point of about $12 a stick off CAYP (shipping +$10 each) it failed to preform. That one was BAD, this La Riqueza isn't great either. Second one I've smoked and it's all leather. Not another flavor I can pick out, just all Tatuaje leather. Very boring considering the size of the cigar.

Today wasn't a great smoking day, it's alright though I'll light up a nice Punch Black Prince tomorrow and a Sir Winston to start the weekend off Friday. Surely that will change the pace.
