Shutter Island...pretty good, 3 of 4 stars.
Gonna check the adult video store tomorrow and see if they have Slutter Island.

Sling Blade.
I would love to discuss it with anyone, as I reflected on it and it really felt like a profound movie once I considered the characters, their nuances, and the atmosphere of the film. It really put me in mind of To Kill A Mockingbird due to its Southern Gothic feeling and the way the main character was perceived by those around him, and how he saw them, as well as One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest in relation to the mental-patient inside and outside of mainstream society. |
