Byfugly ran the Caps goalie tonight. Not a good scene from the highlights and looks like he took some shots for it as well. I dont want to say turtle, but the highlights I saw on NHL on the fly didnt look to good.

Sharks took the Oilers out behind the wood shed. Eberle did have a nice goal for the OIlers. Hopefully the Sharks are starting to right the ship.

Looks like the ship is sailing straighter when Niemi is on the bench.

Yeah he needs to take the springboards out of his pads. That dude is kicking out huge juicy steaks. Looks like the Hawks may have been smart.

Man did anyone see brieres goal lastnight. Phenueff looked like a Bender on it. He just blew right past him.

Implying they don't have a chance to make the playoffs, Barry. It was downright mean of me.

I know, but how can I possibly argue the point? I just feign ignorance. As for the meanness, I can taking a beating like you wouldn't believe...I am also an Indians and Browns fan.

But being a Jackets fan I try to relish the smaller victories. A 3-2 comeback win over Chicago just made my month.

Wow screw his pads Niemi gave up three goals on 5 shots before getting the hook.
To be honest though only one was his fault. The first was a power play goal, number two he was screened by his own defenseman but still think he should have had it. Number three the Sharks D took neither the shooter or the option man and pretty much backed into niemi. Funny listening to grapes last night he pointed out give the goalie the shooter, take the outlet man, but when you take neither you screw your goalie.

not looking good for the Sharks. Have couple good games then a bad one. Nitty came in and played solid relief.

Yeah, the Sharks defense looked brutal in the 1st period, Mike.

Hey, most teams would take 2-1, that would leave you at 55-27 if you could do it all season.

Watched the Wings pull one off late Sat night. Dats is amazing with the puck. However, the Wing's D needs to stop couging up the puck in their own zone. The giveaways are killing them. Luckily they've been able to overcome the mistakes with a ton of offense, but that won't cut it come playoff time.

At least Howard looks good so far. 2.14 GAA, 92.5%, 1 SO, & he's 4-0.

Woot! Jackets win 2-1 over the Flyers. They have beaten the defending western conference and eastern conference champions in their last 2 games. Taking joy in the little things

That powerplay goal was one of the nicest plays I have ever seen, from any team.

I would love to see the Jackets keep this up, its a shame 10 years in the league and they haven't done much. I got a call today from their sales people, trying to sell me season tickets. I told them I was a Penguins fan.

I am, but when I said that, she kinda shut up and stopped the sales pitch. Later today I was thinking about that call and thought to myself that she was a horrible salesperson!
