For the guys that have Glocks, what lights are you using on your pistols and why? I'm looking for a light that will fill up a room as much as possible.

The standard for our department is the Streamlight TLR-1 or TLR-1s
One of the best bangs for the buck, right around $100 or so.

I agree with the above, I own a few surefire and streamlights and agree that the streamlight is the best bang for the buck. But I do prefer the activation options ont he surefire x300's a whole lot more.

The surefire can be activated by pushing on the lever for a momentary flash while the the streamlight you need to depress the lever for a momentary flash. It all comes down with what you are willing to train with.

Just remember with lights brighter isn't always better. You can end up blinding yourself too, especially if your very light sensitive.

I think the current x300's can be found for under 200 now

ALSO bear in mind in the hunt for ever higher lumens ratings that you need 4x the lumens to percieve 2x the increase. So practically speaking, if you have a choice between 160 lumens and 190 lumens for example, don't pick it based on the lumens, the perceptible increase is arguably negligible.

bought a new toy a few months back, but been busy with less pleasurable issues as of late

original form.....38/357 Rossi Ranch Hand large loop

then modified with small loop and a few internal upgrades

new voodoo scabbard (shortest I could find)

case style I searched for but didn't buy

Surefire's are really expensive lights. I'm going to look into some Streamlights. You guys prefer LED to bulb?

LED all the way! Not sure if they make weapon lights anymore that are halogen.
LED's take the abuse and last longer than the bulbs, downside is if something goes wrong it's not a simple replace the bulb, you gotta send it back to the manufacturer.

Look around, I've had good luck with LA Police Gear, sometimes they go on sale. I think I've seen them on sale for around $80 (TLR-1)
