Where I got the location for my name...Dream Evil - H.M.J. (Heavy Metal Jesus). Great band. Friends have always told me I reminded them of the Jack Black character in the movie High Fidelity, just about Heavy Metal music. I always took that as a compliment...lol

One of the most original things I have come across in the last couple of years. Band called The Native Howl out of Michigan I believe. Mixing up bluegrass with thrash metal. Sounds like a terrible idea but it actually works. This one is from their debut album "thrash grass" and I was fortunate to see them live just weeks after having discovered them. Amazing band to see live....VERY talented musicians.

Enjoy!

New album from Primal Fear dropped yesterday. If not familiar with Primal Fear then just suffice it to say that they can do Judas Priest better than Judas Priest can do Judas Priest. Hell, their lead singer was almost Rob Halfords replacement when he first left left the band in the 90's. Either way if you like Judas Priest I would be absolutely shocked if you did not like Primal Fear.

I would agree with you from '75 to '85 with the exception of Painkiller and the new one, Firepower. Priest unfortunately has fallen into the same trap as Iron Maiden. Just because you can put 74 minutes of music on a CD doesn't mean you should. The albums since Halfords return have been good but would be WAY better if you take a few of the "filler" songs out. British Steel, Screaming for Vengeance and Defenders of the Faith are stellar all the way through and I cant say that for their newer output, although Firepower comes VERY close. I view that album as the one that SHOULD have followed Painkiller. Just my two cents for whatever that is worth...lol

Totally see your point, I guess I was thinking of the whole catalogue rather than recent stuff, but I get it.
