Re: Red's Fans Check in
It was stupid far. Apparently hit a tree and some of the security officers found it in the street. Didn't make it to the river like Adam Dunn's 500+ footer did a few years back.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Speaking of Dunn, he's about to set a new record, I believe:
.162 batting average, 160 strikeouts Needs to more Ks for his strikeout number to be higher than his batting average. I think that might be a first (not sure) for a guy who has had enough at bats to contend for a batting title.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Rob Deer and Mark Reynolds were both close, but both had a slightly higher average.

One of two divisions in the Majors they could win. The other one, the Reds play in.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Rob Deer was close, but was off by four Ks from the stats I'm looking at.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Possible good news for Cubs fans. They may possibly be interested in Walt Jocketty for their GM next year. He hasn't done much for the Reds, but he's got a decent track record when working with teams who can pony up some cash (Cardinals).
