Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread
Mine is the Safe Keeper II and while I have yet to put it through anyone's skull, I have no doubt that I could. Very well built and extremely sharp. The sheath has plenty of tie down holes so it is easily attatched to things and it is very secure in the sheath.

Went to Bill Jackson's sporting goods and picked up a Mini barrage. Couldn't help it. and cant wait to see what it looks like after I thump on it for 10 years.

Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread
My everyday carry knife is a Columbia River Knife & Tool (CRKT) "Point Guard" [right] and my occasional carry is a CRKT "Vele Wasp" [left].
I have really abused the PG and it's held up perfectly over the last three years. BTW I paid less than $30 for those knives together, I treat my everyday carry too rough to actually invest a whole lot into it. *clickable thumbnail* Last edited by backwoods357; 04-18-2011 at 05:41 PM. |

Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread
So this came in the mail last week. I had wanted the wooden inserts - but this is what came instead. Might return....might just use this as a chance to make some custom inserts...Anyone tried this before ?

Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread
I know it isnt a pocket knife, but it is really all I own.
It is a Gerber that was my fathers, it looks very much like the Mark II in the picture. It is one of the few things I have to remember him by, it has been in my possesion since his passing about 25 years ago.
