Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
WooHoo made it to lvl 7! I am playing Domination more than the Team Deathmatch. I am getting better at the game and learning the maps.
I got like 4k of money to spend and I am trying to decide if I should wait for 5k and get claymores or buy some perks. I have Ghost, extended mags and scope for the M16....should have bought them fore the MP5 cause I ended up using that more. I was thinking of buying at least Ninja next and rapid fire for the MP5?? Plus I need to get a good stereo headset so I can hear these fools sneakin on me.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Claymores are great in this game. I'd get that rapid fire for the MP5 and slight of hand. Slight of hand is necessary for any running around because once you get it to pro you'll aim down the sights faster. Reloading faster helps too.
That's why I picked up a good headset recently. |

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
From the reviews I've read they didn't hold up that well. I hear lots of great things about Turtle Beach headsets. I ended up caving in and getting the Astro A30s that were for sale here awhile back. They're nice.

I never even heard of astros. I'll have to find some to try out. I have a pair of AKG K702's that I think would make great gaming headphones, But they take a lot to power them and don't have a mic adapter that I know of . Not sure what I would need for them as I use 1970's and earlier stereo equipment for music. |

I was looking at "Skullcandy GI SGS DJ-Style Stereo Headset with Boom Mic for Xbox 360" or the Turtle Beach's.
I thought about getting the Slight of Hand...but I usually die before I have to reload so I thought I would wait on that

http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=44671 They aren't very bassy, but they have it where it counts. I really like them a lot. I couldn't speak more highly of these. They can be used for EVERYTHING since they come with every cord you'll ever use except for an optical cable.. I now use them with my ipod, for movies, and gaming. I haven't used them for my laptop yet, but I will. They almost don't even feel like I'm actually wearing them. The best part of SOF is when you get it pro. That faster aiming down the sights really helps. |

Kirk, try capture the flag. Lots more points. My hubby has the turtle beaches. He loves them. I don't care for them much.
