Re: pnoon's what cigar did you smoke today VII?
601 Snakebite Toro - okay so first off, I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but I've had 3 cigars out of this box of 10 whose caps have cracked. Pretty bad cracks too. First with a punch then with 'my sharpest guillotine cutter for the other 2! Luckily, I've been able to salvage the last one, and I'm glad I did because it's a delicious cigar. Medium full to full body with lots of flavor and pleasant peppery notes throughout...if only they weren't so delicate, this would be a winner. |

Re: pnoon's what cigar did you smoke today VII?
LAdC Edicion Especial Robusto I'm sure I've posted about this one before but hot damn is it a tasty cigar! It has a really unique "pungent" note to it that makes it stand out from other cigars! I only wish it could be a little stronger as far as the body is concerned, sits at a pretty steady medium-full, but certainly full flavor. |

Ave Maria Reconquista Morning Star - I'm conflicted about these Morning Stars, they are a heck of a lot of fun to smoke, when the burn isn't crazy as all hell...this one burned okay thankfully... The blend is nice, wrapper is pretty peppery as became evident from the beginning shape of the cigar...again very nice but nothing particularly interesting here. |

Re: pnoon's what cigar did you smoke today VII?
HC Criollo Toro - man I love these things. Been smoking these instead of the Camacho Criollo initially because they were more affordable, but I think I might actually even prefer them to the Camacho blend! There's really nothing quite like a good Criollo blend; complex creamy, woody, cocoa-y & salty notes, makes me wonder why more companies don't make Criollo blends... |
