Also tough to watch.......the Minnesota Wild. What a dumpster fire......just another epic meltdown by a MN sports team.

Well ... let me start by saying I have been watching hockey on tv for 50 years .

Crosby tonight scored (what I think ) the best all time ... and any hockey fan has to put it in their top 10 ever .

Not a big Crosby fan ... but losing a couple teeth and still playing ... bonus respect points .

It was a nice goal, Derrek, but I'm not putting it on my Top 10 list.

Pete, playoffs can be a whole new season, you never know.

I know I am biased, but I can think of goals by Kane, Panik and Hayden that were better within the last month.

Tom

I get to watch Mcdavid every night and through the 80's Gretzky every night ... never seen this done before .

If you are left handed ... hold stick in right hand only and raise the puck off the ice ... better yet two guys trying to climb onto you and roof the puck past the goalie .

No Blackhawk or any other hockey player has ever done it that I can remember .

But I digress ... as long as you are a hockey fan ... every thing is alright .

I have to say that was almost like a trick shot goal, don't mean that in a bad way, but he knew what he was doing popping it up and punching it in.

Looked at some more views of the Crosby goal, and it is pretty amazing Derrek. Didn't say the Hawks did that, juts said they had some goals that I thought were pretty impressive.

First slashed a guy in the eggs on Tuesday, then actually takes part of a finger off Methot last night.

If the tables were turned and Methot broke Sid's finger, Methot would be suspended for 10 games.

Slash #2 was worse, first I wasn't so sure it wasn't dive.

As far as the goal.... I keep thinking if I could even pop that puck up, not sure I could slide it in, to roof that empty net is nice. Roof it against an NHL tendy, that's special.

Added bonus, Avs are just letting cats score at will in the 3rd.

Holy smokes, don't know what happened there(still 62 to go) with the 'Hawks and Preds, but my daughter is going to be difficult to live with for 24 hours(I wouldn't want to be around Tom tonight).

That said, the ups the past few years makes this easier IMO. BUT I'm an Avs fan.
