I smoked a very nice Pinar del rio habano sun grown on the way to work today thanks to Emjaysmash.

Makes me feel a lot better about the two five-packs I put in the cooler last week

I had Punch Gran Puro thanks to kelmac07. I shared this with a couple friends outside of a local coffee shop. We got our coffees and chai and smoked and talked and had an all together great time. Before the light this stick smelled like chocolate and maybe hazelnuts, the burn was nice it got a little uneven, but fixed itself right up which was nice. After the light I was getting a lot of woods kinda like a wood pile on top of some damp hay. specifically the knots in wood. I really love trying to pick out the flavors and the smells in a cigar so we had a great time throwing some ideas around. Some of the smells and tastes that really stuck with me were a very early light subtle pepper and towards the middle I started getting some really interesting notes. I got a real nice image of a high quality wooden chess board I could smell and taste the light and dark wooden tiles, the old used wooden pieces set in place and even the air between the pieces, call me crazy, but this was a very strong note for me. Another first time note i got on this was a citrus, which I have never had on a cigar, I was getting a distinct kiwi aftertaste back behind my jaw on the left side. there was a pecan pie aftertaste and the end of this cigar gave a very nice warm oak barrel taste like the ones used to store scotch. This was my friends last day in town and I think it was a great way to send him off, we had a throughly good time and I'd like to thank Kelmac07 for providing this fine cigar to go with. I'd definitely smoke one of these again.

Bunker. I'm enjoying a Famous Nic 5000. Great maddy flavors and amazingly consistent burn, considering it's an unseasonably warm 50* here and damp as hell with snowmelt.
These will be joining the go-to rotation for the golf course next season. Thanks, Rick!

Your welcome, those 5000's are a great stick for the money.

I started yesterday with a Camacho Diploma from Santa, followed it with a Partagas Churchill from Mark's TAW and finished last night with a Perdomo Lot 23 maduro from Emjay

Devils weed from Chingas, I found it to be creamy, a little grassy and with some spice. The only bad thing was trying to get smoke out of it, but what I did get was enjoyable

That's terrible news. So sorry Brother.

Santa kicked my ass and I thought it was only right to enjoy a '94 Partagas SD4 on New Years day with a nice clean pallet. Thank you so much Santa. This was a BadAss stick for sure.

Camacho 1962 Torpedo from Chingas. I had forgotten how good Camachos can be and this one was a departure from the in your face spice that I had gotten from the ones I smoked. The start was a dry wood and evolved into an earthy flavor with the end being full of dark chocolate. I was impressed by the complexity of this smoke. Thanks again Chingas

In honor of Shilalas nuptials yesterday, I smoked a La Gloria Cubana Torpedo in natural wrapper. And, if my eyes were correct, it was from 1991. The boldly distinctive flavors that this cigar originally exhibited where much muted and muddled, as would be expected from a cigar of this age. However, that is not to take anything away from this smoke. If I might be so bold, this exhibited some of the fine qualities of an excellent Cuban cigar. I enjoyed it immensely.

Thanks, Scott.

God's blessings to you and Lisa.
