Re: What beers are you enjoying?
The Vanilla Bean Dark Lord and Oak Aged Dark Lord were fun to try.
Both beers were great, I leaned more towards the VBDL. There is nothing that tastes like this beer. It was thick chocolaty and the vanilla didn't overpower the DL one bit. When I was getting close to the bottom of the glass you could see the small dots of the vanilla bean. Still wish I got some KBS on tap and never heard if the Canadian Breakfast Stout ever came out.

Drinking a Dark Horse "Plead the 5th." This is an awesome RIS.
I'm thinking a trip to Southern MI is in order to do some "quality control inspections" at Founders, Dark Horse, and Bells. All three are within 100 miles of one another. Plus, it's only 2-3 hours from there to the Shack Herf. That would be an awesome trip.

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
Its that Legend's Brown Ale that steals the show out of Legends line up IMO. Love that stuff. Negra is a good time too.

Having a New Belgium Ranger IPA. It's OK. New Belgium makes other beers that are much, much better than this one. I only wish they sold their beer in MA.

Black Boss Porter and a Unibroue La Fin Du Monde (got a couple of them from some lady who I gave a cigar to her husband at the DLD)

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
tried a Chimay red out of the 3 bottle set with the glass (on sale for 14.99 at World Market, had to)
def. my first foray into Belgian beer of any kind, and as a change from all the IPA's and IIPA's, not bad, interesting fruit flavors, like mild apple or orchard fruit, which I am assuming is from the yeast. Can't wait to try the white and the blue next.
