Rise of the planet of the apes.
One of the best movies I have seen in awhile. Serkis needs a freekin Oscar for something. |

Re: What's the last movie you watched II?
I made the mistake of renting The Monuments Men... The movie could have been so much better than it was. It was too disjointed in its storyline for my taste.

For me, took the boy to see Planes: Fire & Rescue.......I absolutely hated the 1st one, this one was 10x's better.......better story/animation. After the flick I high fived the boy and told him that was a great choice. If you have kids, go see it.

Noah
Friggin' weird. Rock creature angels, magic, and Noah attempting to murder infant grandchildren. Not terrible, but not good either. It's worth a watch if you have nothing else to do.

Frozen Ground -- meh.......Makes me wonder why I liked Cage and Cusack so long ago....I need to rewatch Raising Arizona and Grosse Pointe Blank to get the bad taste out of my mouth.
Actually, Cage wasn't awful....not Ghost Rider awful anyway; but Cusack simply mailed it in. Not worth the time or effort to watch this one.

Cusack was pretty awful too. The creepy part is that it is a true story. |

Jesse Stone - made for TV movies. Really not very good, but for some reason I couldn't stop watching the stupid things.

Re: What's the last movie you watched II?
Rented it On Demand about a week ago. I almost remember some of it. I thought it was OK at the time, but it sure didn't stick with me at all.....something about a new guy in town, pisses off bad guys, kills 'em all by the end....? Walking Tall, First Blood, Taken, the silly bar movie with the Dirty Dancing guy.....this could be any of them a week after watching

Hobo with a Shotgun
It was a great indie B/schlock film and even had Rob Wells (Ricky from Trailer Park Boys) in it.

Re: What's the last movie you watched II?
I still haven't seen the first Sharknado. I'll have to watch them both soon.

Re: What's the last movie you watched II?
Enjoyable and worth watching, but you have to suspend disbelief and not think too closely about the plot. If you're familiar with Luc Besson films then you know the drill: just enjoy the ride.
