Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 as always and it's looking like we're going to have the hottest day of the summer today. The weather guessers are calling for 93 degrees and humid with hardly no breeze and thunderstorms in the evening as a result. This will continue through Saturday as the summer has finally hit the East Coast. Well, the Yankees won big last night, 9 - 0 over the White Sox and they'll do it again this evening. Hope everyone has a good one and enjoys.......

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's already getting hot outside already. I see that the Yankees lost last night 5 - 0, they should have saved some of the runs from the other night. This evening, we are heading over to Doc James Lounge in Shrub Oak, NY as Adam DeSiena and his team are hosting an Espinosa Cigar event with Erik and the entire crew showing up:

Espinosa Event July 7th - Meet & Greet with Erik Espinosa
Join us Thursday July 7th for a special evening of cigars and food by Chef Lena. Erik Espinosa will make his first trip to Doc James. There will be specials on the Laranja, and others. Chef Lena will be preparing chicken, sausage & peppers, corn, & salads, plus 1 cigar, and beverages all for only $20.

Enjoy everyone and be safe out there.......

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's finally Friday! Well, we had a great time last night at Doc James Cigars with Adam and his entire crew doing another top notch job. The food was outstanding as chef Chris Lena did a superb job. It was great to see the guys (Erik Espinosa, Danny Moya, Juan Cancel and Jose Galvez) as always. David (thechenman) along with my eye doctor Vernon attended which is always great to see (no pun intended) and Sean Keever (Big Guns BBQ) showed up as a surprise. It was good to see the Yankees win, hopefully they finish off the first half of the season this way. The NASCAR racers are in Kentucky this weekend with night races tonight and tomorrow evening. Enjoy the weekend everyone and be safe out there......

Good morning all, the coffee has been on for a while and we are heading out on the Newburgh Brewing party bus at 1000 (10am) to Citi Field to watch the Mets vs. Nationals game. Should be a great day weather wise and have cigars in pocket for the trip. Enjoy everyone and hopefully the Yankees win as well and go .500 for the first half of the season.......

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday. We had a great time yesterday enjoying tasty beers, top shelf cigars all day long. Too bad the Mets lost, it was a close game all the way to the finish. The Yankees won and are now back at .500 going into the All-Star break. Anyway, hope everyone has a great week and enjoys a few of your favorites throughout it.......

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's already "Hump Day". Congrats to the AL as the beat the NL last night in the MLB All-Star game. It's pretty quiet at work with a lot of Cadets in the field and others attached the active Army units all over the world. Keeping myself busy though getting ready for the up-coming Quad State Herf XI - Wings for Warriors fund raiser which is in just over 3 weeks. Before we know it, it'll be upon us and things are shaping up very nicely for it. Anyway, I hope everyone has a relaxing day and enjoys.......

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! We had a good time last night at Schlesinger's enjoying cigars and catching up with old friends, then we saw the breaking news about France. Prayers sent to the families and hopefully the hurt will survive. Not even sure what to think about the entire situation over there. Enjoy your weekend everyone and be safe.......

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday. We had a great weekend, got to see Jeremy and a lot of friends Saturday and enjoy some top shelf cigars as well. Yesterday's Wings for Warriors fund raiser was successful and on the way home, Beth and I have found a new seafood restaurant which was outstanding. If you're ever in Pomona, NY, Gilligan's Clam Bar & Grill is a must stop:
http://www.gilligansclambar.com/home
I see that the Yankees won last night and didn't get swept by the Red Sox. Next up are the Baltimore Orioles for 4 night at home starting this evening at 1905 (7:05 pm). Lastly, congrats to Matt Kenseth for taking the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR up in New Hampshire. Enjoy the week everyone and definitely be safe out there........

Good morning all, the espresso is on and off to the Peekskill Jazz and Blues festival shortly. We take the train from Beacon (only a few stops - don't have to worry about finding parking this way) with stops at 2 Way Brewing Company and the Peekskill Brewery. Bringing a few cigars as it's a cigar friendly event. Good to see the Yankees win last night and hopefully they can do it again this afternoon. Enjoy everyone and be safe out there.......

If you can't attend and would like to buy raffle tickets or make a donation, just let me know. Raffle tickets are 5 for $20, an arm length for $50 or a full wing span (finger tip to finger tip) for $100. Our goal this year is to raise $25,000 for the "Wings for Warriors" www.wingsforwarriors.org. Enjoy your day everyone and be safe out there......

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! Had a good evening at Schlesinger's last night, the regulars were there and I caught up with a couple of ole' friends as well. Beth and I will be heading out in the morning to the Poconos as we are escorting the West Point Military Police Color Guard who will be presenting the US Colors in the opening ceremonies in Sunday's NASCAR race. We have some stuff to do tomorrow at the track and then we'll watch the NASCAR Camping World Truck race. We're planning on being at Victory Lane for both races which is always a blast. Anyway, enjoy your weekend everyone and be safe out there......
