Great series, well as a RS fan I think it was, should have been a sweep but taking it in 5 works too.
Great side stories, the 35 year old journeyman that had been with 11 teams finally get's to play for his boyhood team the RS and ends up the World Series MVP for them. The starting pitchers that were all in and warming up almost every game or pitching out of the bullpen. Nathan E who throws 90+ pitches in freaking relief and get's a standing Ovation from his teammates after giving up the HR that lost them the game. You have to wonder if this isn't the new blueprint for the World Series moving forward, every picture available in every situation? |

Mets finalize Diaz/Cano trade. I'm glad to see Bruce gone, but think we might have given up too much with Dunn & Kelenic...but still very happy with this trade. Now we need a catcher, centerfielder, and some relief pitching.
