Re: NHL '14 - '15 Season Thread
Hawks took down the Sharks quite convincingly. The West is almost a league of its own right now. Very entertaining!

https://youtu.be/L5Ux-vs6EvY I know this is a homer post, but THIS should be interference, Looch wasn't even in the blue paint and Price cross-checked him, of course what do you expect from les habs. https://youtu.be/xQFX3WaX0Ek oh and nice head hunting try from mr. classy... |

Ah oui Monsieur - but he doesn't need to do that, because there's not a whole lot of rubber that gets past the kid.
This time of the season they get a little testy.

Re: NHL '14 - '15 Season Thread
Jets had a great game last night, holding off the Bolts.
Engstrom proves he's as tough as nails. Takes a huge boarding hit and goes off bleeding, only to come back after a few quick stitches. Feisty little guy. http://www.thescore.com/news/722021

Hockey players are a different breed, Adam, especially at playoff time. Ask Duncan Keith or Patrice Bergeron. The Last Gladiators.
Lucic? Sorry, he proved what a clown he is again after today's game with the Caps. Just once, try to have a little class or dignity after a loss, Milan.

Re: NHL '14 - '15 Season Thread
I have to say that last series and those two were probably pretty much the extreme, although others have played with some serious injuries those guys had multiple injuries.
I missed it and I've given up on him having any class or sportsmanship, let's face it that's not "his game", that being said it would be a lot better if he could put up Cam N. numbers .. |

We could all use Cam on our teams, Adam, maybe clone him?
I'd take Bergeron on the Hawks in a minute, and even let you keep Milan.

Re: NHL '14 - '15 Season Thread
Great night at MTS Centre with the Jets winning in a shoot out. Hard game with the Blues. Arena was really loud! Fickle fans were chanting "Pav-vie" after wnating to lynch him a week ago! He didn't leak much, but Myers and Stafford are really looking like a good trade about now. Both were playing incredible games, with Stafford first star of the game. The West is getting interesting with a real battle for the wild card spots. This season rocks! (If you're not in Toronto of course - which means - this season rocks!!!)

Re: NHL '14 - '15 Season Thread
Not only is he a cheap shot artist, holder of the most missed elbows throw (throw by him and just missing people's heads) and numerous other distinctions, he now get's a minor fine that will mean nothing to him, they need to start suspending players for diving, don't care what team they play for.
NEW YORK -- Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban has been fined $3,000 for diving in a game against Ottawa, his third fine in three months. He paid up after getting warnings twice in January for diving against Tampa Bay and the New York Rangers. A third citation for the dive on March 12 against the Senators triggered the $3,000 fine. If he gets another warning this season, he will be fined an additional $4,000, and Montreal coach Michel Therrien must pay a $2,000 penalty. |

When it starts costing his coach (who makes much less) money, maybe it will stop.
I would also like to see Brad Marchand quit diving. Or P.K. connecting with one of those elbows to Marchand's head. Or both.

I would love it Icehog. You know the Blues don't want anything to do with us!
You gonna have Kane back for the postseason?

Doesn't look like Kane will be back unless the Hawks make it to the Conference Finals....which is still a distinct possibility.

Re: NHL '14 - '15 Season Thread
Montreal getting a bit of their own. Jets are bashing them into the boards and generally frustrating them. Jim Slater has a Gordie Howe hatrick - goal, assist and fight.
Ladd looking mean tonight. Yeah baby!!!

Oh wow - Jets fans yelling "We want Carey" to taunt Habs who are down 5-2 with Tokarski in net. Man they have some mean chants!
