I caught Flyleaf, Three Days Grave and Breaking Benjamin back in March... great show.

My latest "craze" has been watching Skillet. Never heard of them prior to April 2009 and have since seen them 7 times in the past 16 months or so. I'm taking my wife to a festival taking place at Universal Studios in Orlando in Sept to see them and a bunch of other bands as a very "delayed" anniversary gift. I grew up seeing groups like GnR, Metallica, ACDC, etc, etc in concert and I think Skillet puts on a better show yet. I like other christian rock bands like Decyfer Down, The Letter Black, Disciple, Flyleaf, Fireflight, Red, Sanctus Real, Switchfoot, and TobyMac.

I saw The Letter Black play a show about 40 miles from here a couple of weeks ago...I kid you not, there were less than 35 people in the entire theater, which included 3 bands, audio/video crew, merchandise people, promoters, concessions, and those of us that paid the $10 to watch the show. I felt so bad for them. Great way to meet the bands though.

Wife and I went to see Dave Matthews Band last month. One of the best shows i have seen from them in a couple of years.

Just got home from a festival, only saw Epica and Living Colour, backstage, while smoking a stogie. Good times.

I didn't know they were still around. I never got to see them in concert, but always liked their music. Agreed too they were underrated.

Last concert I saw was Porcupine Tree a couple months ago. Excellent show. Nothing fancy stage wise, but some of the best current music out there. Steve Wilson is a musical genius.

they have been back since 2001, released two albums since and still rock! They did a small tour in the north east of the US a couple of weeks ago. Going to see them again tonight, they play in Amsterdam.

Very cool. I"ll have to keep an eye out for them in case they come around my area. Vernon Reid is a monster on the guitar.

The last concert I saw was Jeremy Camp. I was close enough that I rested my feet on the stage before the show began and got a fist bump during the show.

I did have a ticket for the Avenged Sevenfold concert tonight, but I have to work.....

and a great person (i'm a very priviliged fan, I've gotten to know the band personally over the years and I'm part of the incrowd now, guestlists, backstage access). Saw them again today, awesome show.

Last weekend. Big Wu, Asa Sia, Charlie Parr, Natty Nation, Mark Joseph project. A bunch of other ones too. Going to see Keller Williams September 22nd. Then going to see Pretty Lights November 14th.
