Small Batch is slightly high, Single Barrel is a steal, I'd grab a couple at that price.

I'd probably pick up a Single Barrel as well. I've heard hit or miss on them but the hits are home runs

Exactly, certainly worth a shot at $90.

Went with this purchase. Maybe next week I’ll snag the EHT Single Barrel. Recently had WT 101 for first time since I was 19 and now with a developing taste for bourbon it definitely fell into the under the radar for being labeled red neck whiskey. Looking forward to this- All right All right All right!!

I'm having a similar turkey revelation recently, after hearing so many people talk about how WT 101 is the most underrated affordable whiskey around I had a pour of it neat and really enjoyed it. I bought a bottle each of Rare Breed and Rare Breed Rye, I think I'm gonna give them a try this weekend. TW here has Rare Breed for $38, couldn't say no

I've also been enjoying my through a bottle of Kentucky Spirit, like a single barrel WT101. About $10-15 more than Rare Breed but I really like it

WT 101 has been my go to for a while now. Another one that flies under the radar is Old Grand Dad 114.

Fred Minnick recently did a good blind taste off for budget bourbons, an interesting list to look over

Add in Old Forester BiB and those are three staples I always have. The rare breed is another good one. The new rare breed rye sounds interesting but at $65/bottle here it makes me hesitate.

Gabe, curious to hear your take on the Rare Breed Barrel Proof.

Is all Rare Breed barrel proof, or is there a "regular" version too?

Killed off a Four Roses Single Barrel last night. Doubt I will be replacing it.

All barrel proof, there's the bourbon and the new Rye. There have been different bourbon releases through the year (different proofs) but I think al;l have been barrel proof

Definitely feel its strength at first sip, once I acclimated to it it was delicious. Lots of cherry vanilla notes . Then I did a side by side to 4 Roses single barrel and got really drunk and couldn’t decide which I preferred more, both are excellent and will stay in regular rotation!

Gabe, I can't tell you how many times those "side by sides" have been my downfall.

Two pours of Old Ezra last night, it's definitely become a favorite.

Talking Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

I finished one Jack Daniel once when I was 18 years old. I did it because of a challenge, which my sisters. I was almost about to get caught to my Mum but I was lucky because there were so many guests at home on that day. Anyway as I know Jack Daniel is not a Bourbon. Isn’t it? It is a Tennessee Whiskey. However I must say that it was an unforgettable day.
