I bounced back and forth between St James Woods adn Molto Dolce this weekend. I also picked up some Carter hall at the drug store per Mr Moo's many recommendations. Not bad for cheap drug store baccy.

Burnt my 5th bowl of Legends series Acadian Blen. This stuff is aaaamazing, I'll say it here for the few who roam the pipe section before I mention it at another place and not have a chance to order more tins. You owe it to yourselves to buy a tin and try this if you like Va/Per's.

No its by Brigham they got it at P&C. There's a subtle sweetness that I like in it. A really dry smoke too.

Cool, thanks for the info.

Smoking the Chick Magnet right now. It's my first cavadesh (sp) blend. Going to have to try a different time of day and pipe. I can taste a little sweetness but mostly tastes like a burley.

Breakfast this morning: 4 eggs scrambled with just the right amount of shredded cheese, some garlic and onion powder, salt & pepper, with a good amount of Tapatio to top things off. So...

Followed up a decent breakfast with a good amount of Rattray' Marlin Flake stuffed into the Boswell Billiard with a cup of Luzianne tea on the side.

The Marlin Flake is simply "wow"! What a great blend

A big thank you to Jake (688sonarmen) for sending a sample my way many many months ago

My mom's made our eggs's the same way when we were younger minus the tapatio. I don't know about you Mark, but It would be easy to make a rotation with nothing but Rattray's blends. Marlin Flake, Old Gowrie, and HOTW are all staples for me.

Sounds like a winner Mark!
I just finished with giving my pipes a good scrub with some grain alcohol. They are smoking a bit sweeter now. Smoking a bowl of Burley Flake #3 as I type.
