Just finished "The Power of the Dog" by Thomas Savage. Before that was "Paris Trout" by Pete Dexter. Now I gotta have something light!

A Memory of Light, the last book in the Wheel of Time series, 23 years and fourteen books later I will finally find out what happens.

I told my wife that I'm calling in sick until I get through this book.

Of Posidon by Anna Banks

I read this based on a recently read short story. The author has a pretty good style. It's a tween book targeted at young adults and adults. I liked the story, until the ending.

The ending is a cliff-hanger; the author could have done a better job wrapping some things up, instead of forcing us to wait for a second book...

Struck by Jennifer Bosworth. Another book I read after reading a short story... This book was not as well written and the main character was not someone you are drawn to support... meh
