Raiders of the Lost Ark

I'm still trying to figure out how Indy rode that sub across the ocean, while it was submerged, guess God really was on his side.

Contrary to popular belief Indy was important to the plot, if it weren't for him being there the US government wouldn't have known where to get the Ark, so he was important to the last seconds of the movie
