Yeah, go ahead and tell yourself that! Even if it is not, I think it is OK.

Enjoying the last night of good weather for over a week with an '85 LCFD Preferido and a pour of ECBP B519. A match made in heaven

Had some Russell's 6 Year Rye for a late night pour last night.

Did my first bourbon drain pour ever, 2/3rds of a bottle of Basil Hayden Dark Rye. If I want port flavor, I'll drink port.

On the good side, still have a sealed bottle of B519, Ben. Also open bottles of A119 and C919. Still searching for A120 in the wild though.

Picked up a bottle of 1792 Single Barrel store pick, haven't tried the single barrel expression yet and for $45 it seemed reasonable, comes in just under 100 proof. I plan on having a pour tonight

Looking forward to a review, Ben. All I have had was the regular small batch, and I wasn't impressed.

Last night:

I thought it was good not great, liked it better than the full proof but I didn't think it stood out too much. I'll be revisiting soon

I see the Weller SR from time to time here, but I've never seem the 107 in Illinois.

Last night....like this as an inexpensive regular drinker, can't drink the "tough to replace" stuff every night.

I'm curious how it would compare to the OGD 114, Steve.

I haven't had the Early Times. OGD 114 was pretty tasty I thought. It may not have some of the complex flavors of some other mid-top shelf bourbons, but it certainly wasn't a push over. Nice vanilla and carmmelo hints and a pretty strong finish. I'm not much of a cocktail guy, but this would probably make a real nice Old Fashioned.
