Smoked my first and maybe last SOA KG-9. Smoked half of it and switched to
a Padron #35 Maduro.

Tried my best to smoke a Matilde Corono tonight and I believe it was the most frustrated I have ever been with a cigar. It was hard to get started and near impossible to keep lit in addition to only wanting to burn down the left side at times.

Sounds like it was over humidified, was this a cigar you just got, sometimes the vendors keep them at a very high humidity and when you get them you have to let them sit a bit or you can dry box them.

I bought this one around Thanksgiving and it's been in the humidor since then. I may pick up a second one from my usual B&M to see if that makes a difference.
