OOO well I called it and it happened. Niemi was once again the better goalie. I am so impressed with Patty. I am glad he has already stated he wants to stay in san jose. I hope it comes true. As for this series the Hawks and the B's. This pig is dead all the Hawks have to do is bury it and they got 4 games to do it.

Tom what the hell skates does byfugly wear anyways? Its been driving me nuts I cant tell. Ugly as sin, but I want to know.
Buff's skates are from a newer company called MLX, Mike. I believe Malkin, Fedetenko and Talbot are wearing them as well.

I can't completely blame Nabokov on the game winner, looked like the D were sound asleep on the play.

He did the same thing tonight after he scored the winner. Arms wide one leg in the air. I kind of agree with Al on this one. If my son ever did that we would have a talk about sportsmanship, but then again he already knows not to do that.

That said dude has been super clutch the last 2 rounds. I said he was the x factor for the Sharks and he has clearly killed them. The Hawks will hoist the cup this year barring the biggest meltdown of all time.

Maybe it's just because I'm a homer, but lots of NHL guys have celebrations that seem a lot more over the top than Buffs....and like I said, I certainly understand why he did it to the folks in Vancouver.

I know Tom its not the worse thing I have seen, but I just think it is getting a little bit much.
I like this video because I think this video sums up my view.
Funny video as I was a Domi fan, but not because of the antics but because he was a little guy who played big.

I guess after watching Byfuglien play with little to no emotion most of the time the past 3 years, that I enjoy seeing him cut loose because it really isn't in character for him...maybe the most laid-back guy off the ice since Steve Larmer, I swear I thought he must be smokin' ganja.

Well he does have that look about him brother. Dazed look at times.
All in fun. You know. I got to have a take on him he is busting the Sharks in the mouth and looking good doing it. Would just hope he throttles it down a little.

Right after his turn with the Cup would work for me.

Have a great night, Mike....hope you enjoy tomorrow's game.

Not if the Hossa curse has anything to do with it

Hawks played a great game. I just hope one of the east teams can give them a run for their money. I don't want to see the Hawks raise the cup, but it looks like we will be seeing that soon. I just can't deal with a sweep in the finals

A sweep would mean the Hawks would raise the Cup on the road....so I could live with the Hawks in 5, Son.

Late night celebrating

By the way, I agree with Tom, and its not because I'm a homer. Lots of celebrating going on over the years, and it brings back memories from games.

OOO I dont mean the clutch factor. Just the captain morgan/ love me thing.

I enjoyed todays game a lot if you meant Micah's. Summer league games started today and they played some 4x4 cross ice. It was a beautiful thing to watch him today. He got 2 goals a post and contributed to a 3rd due to driving the net and shooting it on goal. At 4 He outskated the older bigger kids shielded the puck and one of the goals was a riser. He was wearing number 12 today. Kind of spooky given pattys recent history.

After every goal he just turned and skated away. He made a little eye contact with me and if I gave him a fist pump he did the same.

baby faced sniper.

I expect the Sharks best game of the series so far.

I am hoping for the

I will be there tomorrow in my green Duncan Keith jersey, but no use looking for me on NBC...I'm in the nosebleeds.

Only in my dreams brother, but hey thats half the fun of being a dad. If that happened you know you got free seats.

Glad to see the Flyers take the game today. That series is all but locked up also. This sets things for a very entertaining and possibly penalty filled cup series. Flyers are definetly going to bring the nasty.

Will be interesting to see if the Sharks just laydown and take it or if they find some heart. I expect the Hawks to come out very strong to try to dash any thoughts in the minds of the Sharks.

I think the Sharks don't want to give any fodder to their critics about being a soft playoff team after their best playoff run ever. I think they will come out guns blazing...they will either win big, or get frustrated by Niemi and get the winds taken out of their sails. I think it might be a helluva game, Mike.

Off to Game 4 shortly...hoping the Hawks don't need to board a plane to SJ tonight.
