Finishing off the bottle of Dogfish Head Fort.

What a disappointment. This is the first DFH beer that I don't really love.

It's interesting, but I can't get past the strong solvent taste of alcohol. At 18% abv maybe they went too big with this.

Maybe I'll buy another bottle and lay it down for awhile and see if that helps.

I know where you can get an "expert" opinion.

Believe it or not guys the question somehow didn't come across the way I meant it to, it really is a curious thing to me.

I think it came across just fine. Some folks just don't get it.

I tried to clarify it for some, but the question seemed to keep morphing into something else. I knew what you were saying, Vic.

And yes, Peter...the answer is "yes".

New Glarus Road Sludge... nice oatmeal stout... roasted and dark malt, with good caramel creaminess and a hint of chocolate

Wasn't impressed either. Way too boozy. It might become good with 1-2 years on it. My wife liked the Black and Blue, I wasn't a big fan of that either.

Hola Kiwi

Enjoying a Founders Breakfast Stout right now.

Eyeing up a new New Glarus beer Moon Man. Called a no coast pale ale, sounds interesting.
