The defence let us down in the end I think. But there is still an outside chance at the playoffs...

While a lot of you may not believe me, the Cowboys have two big problems not going by the initials T.O.....................

Jerry Jones

Tony Romo

The main problem I see is Jerry Jones. Until he stops hiring Yes Men to run this team nothing will change. I also put some blame on Romo, but the majority of the blame for offense has to be Jason Garrett. He has the most weapons in football and runs the most simplistic offenses in the NFL. I can watch the game and guess which play is next and be right 70% of the time. The way I see it, Jerry needs to hire a real GM, and totally dismantle the coaching staff. Wade can stay on a D Coordinator if he wants, but garrett and the rest of the coaches have to go. This team is mentally weak and play stupid. That is a direct reflection of the HC. If we could get a coach like Cowher next year I think it would go a long way to getting the fire and heart back into this team. We shall see what happens.

Major disappointment this year! They dont really deserve to make the playoffs, but I hope they still do.

The Colts have the most weapons in football, my friend. Is Dallas second? Couldn't say.

Tony Romo is the QB on the field, so it's up to him to make the most of the weapons he has on the field at any given time. He consistently fails to do so, that probably won't change no matter who the coordinator is.

Romo is a construct of the media and the Dallas Faithful. He sat on the bench behind the likes of guys like the original Stone Man, Drew Bledsoe, for a very good reason.

Take a hard luck at his game logs, I think what you'll see is he puts up big numbers against bad teams, and small numbers against good teams. It skews his averages all out of whack and makes him look a lot better than he really is.

I don't think it's a matter of him choking, that's not the problem. I think he lacks the skills/cognition to read, react and adapt to the more complex defenses he sees when playing the better teams.

Wow I disagree with every point you made
I can see how you come to those conclusions looking from the outside in.
If you studied and lived the Cowboys as much as I have you would see how much sense my arguments make.

As I said, the Cowboys Faithful,

Ask yourself this:

Manning or Romo?

Manning hands down.

Harrison or T.O.?

Harrison, hands down.

Wayne or Williams?

Wayne, hands down.

Gonzalez or ?????(who IS the Cowboys third wideout anyway?)

Gonzalez, hands down.

Addai or Barber?

Addai hands down.

Clark or Whitten?

Clark, although this one is closer.

I still think they make the playoffs and do some damage when they get there. I would take Romo over any Q.B. In the league except for maybe Tom Brady

This seems like just as good as place as any to post this. I see the line at PHL favored by 1, 1.5 and 2. Let's go with 1.5....sound good?
