Deloitte & Touche - any current or former?
I'm applying for a job with them and was curious about the work environment, what to expect, etc. Anyone have any experience with them?

Am I the only one who always mis-reads that as "Toilette and Douche?"

I have many friends that work for them here in North Texas and really like their jobs. I don't have any personal experience, though.

I dislike them... the fact that they come in and audit us every year might have something to do with that!

Re: Deloitte & Touche - any current or former?
I've got a couple of friends who work for them, likewise we have a number of Board Members sitting from Deloitte and other Big Four firms. The "Big Four" are all similar, tons of hours during busy season, still a lot of hours but not as much during off season.
Public Accounting firms in general are pretty sterile. Every one of them has the BS about work-life balance, and tons of benefits; but at the same time, they don't expect you to be able to use them because they're working you into the ground. Likewise the rules above only apply to Audit, if you're doing tax, you don't have an off-season. But, if you ever see yourself being a CFO of a Fortune 500 company, Big Four experience is necessary.
