1935 Drug Store Advertisement...
As I was completing an investigation at a pharmacy today, the owner brought to my attention an old advertisement from the 30's for this location. Check out the "low" prices:
I bet you could think of a few "choice sticks" that you'd like to have at 7 cents each or 4 for 25 cents

and those Owls just may have been made with good ol' Cuban tobacco back in those days possibly
You will find an interesting article here indicating this: Cuba was supplying tobacco to most of the manufacturers, in Tampa. After we moved to Tampa, up until the embargo, we used 100 percent Cuban tobacco.
