A true PreEmbargo Cuban (not a Clear Havana mind you) is very hard to come by...those that have them usually don't want to give them up...and when they do, they are NOT cheap (think over $100 each)...
I just did a review on one from the 1920's here, fwiw: http://tinyurl.com/288ncfe If it is a true Cuban rolled with cuban tobacco, they can still be quite good, despite the age... As for the cigars that have "Pre Embargo Cuban Leaf" in them...I would not believe it, unless I had proof otherwise ![]() Hope that helps! ~brooks |

I ran out to my B&M, Are these what you smoked?
They were on the shelf in a black box with no markings. big enough to hold 100 or more. I'm assuming these are bundle sticks. Oh and only $6.50 here. Jersey Rocks ![]() ![]() ![]()

Not gonna get to it today either. I'm really dropping the ball on this but work has been to busy to smoke and concentrate. It's at work and the first one going down, as soon as I can.

The Four Seasons in Phoenix has a desert item, a 1950's partagas pre-embargo, and some high dollar scotch or whiskey (can't remember) for $500. I wouldnt drop the kind of cash on a cigar, but it was interesting.

I just finished this bad boy. It wasn't that good.
I found it sweet and musky. Very thin smoke, and burned like notebook paper. About 6X54 and took less then an hour. For $6.50 you could do 100 times better. ![]()
