Anyone out there own a rolex of their own?

Can't wait to see the one you bought.

What model Omega & Tag do you have?

That is a sharp watch. I sold an older Daytona for sale in Boston that also has day and date below the 12, but was a smallish case.

Rolex, Omega, Breitling, Rado, Swatch, and Tissot are made down the street from our shop in Biel.

Oddly, there's only one shop that sells Rolex in Biel, but they have them all with no wait or inflated prices.

I can't wait to get a Rolex. I have wanted one ever since I was a young pup. Once I get a few years into my job I will hopefully get one.

I have the Rolex Date Just with Diamond Bezel and Dial. The wife has the ladies version but also has diamond lugs on hers. I bought them for us when we got married 5 years ago.

My bad, Horible typing there. I meant to say I dont like the date, but I like the dials on the daytona. My typing must be crap. My dad and I split the cost as I have made a 3.5+ for my entire high school career so far.

Yet another example of one's inability to chose his or her parents. I graduated with a 3.7 and got accepted to a nice little private school. My Dad, the Uncles, and I sat down and had a dutch masters (my first cigar, and I thought it wasnt half bad ) and a glass of 12 year Glenfiddich. A $12,000 watch?? That could have financed my freshman year!

I love mine; Officer's LS, Chronograph. The bracelet has taken a beating but I swear the face is scratch proof indestructible.

Same model! The bracelet was nice and stiff when I first got it, but it's pretty rickety these days.

Same here. I have had mine for a little over five years and the bracelet is pretty loose. I have thought about taking it to a jeweler to see if they can do anything about it; I imagine not though. Still love the thing.

I was told once they loosen up, not much to cure that problem, specially if gold.
Mine is 16 years old and the bracelet is still pretty tight, almost as if new. The guy at the jewelry store in Vegas even commented on how surprised he was to see it such good shape.
My secret is simple (I think). My friend that use to work for Rolex told me from the moment I got it to make sure it fit snug on my wrist, that it didn't sit loose with any play.
I have worn it that way ever since and I guess it must work well indeed.
BTW, that drove me nuts to get use to as I hated a anything tight on my wrist.
Eventually, I got over it.
