Default Stuffed pork chops

Stuffed pork chops
makes 2-4 servings

4 thick pork chops
1 pkg of wild rice mix (verigo)
½ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ cup non flavored bread crumbs
½ cup of melted butter
garlic powder
onion powder
italian seasoning

make rice according to package, after all water has been absorbed stir in bread crumbs and mozzerella cheese. Stir until rice starts to combine into a ball and set aside. Butterfly cut pork chops. Take melted butter with brush and brush some butter into the inside of the freshly cut chop. Sprinkle galric powder, onion powder and italian seasoning in to the inside of the chop. When rice is cool enough to handle, take a healthy handfull and press it into the middle of the pork chop. Fold side over, take melted butter and brush both sides of the pork chop and also sprinkle with seasonings.
Place the chops on one side in a baking or roasting pan. Cook in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Brush with butter and turn over. Bake for another 20 minutes. Allow to rest for 5 minutes and give each side of chop another brush with the melted butter. Serve.

*** for a more tradtional stuffed pork chop you can use a bread stuffing instead of rice. ***
